The 23Zero Armadillo Horizon 2 represents the ultimate evolution of the hardshell rooftop tent, merging a sleek aerodynamic profile with heavy-duty trail performance. Engineered with a 14-gauge fully welded aluminum shell, this left-opening masterpiece is designed to slice through headwinds on the highway while standing strong against the most punishing off-road environments. The Horizon 2 is the "smart" evolution of its predecessors, featuring a high-lift H-frame that pulls the tent body away from the rear, providing significantly more internal foot-room and vertical space than traditional wedge designs. For the explorer who demands a rapid transition from driving to sleeping, the gas-strut-assisted hinge ensures a sub-60-second deployment with zero friction.

Key Features

  • Elite Climate Integration: Equipped with a dedicated 4.5-inch heater and cooler port with a locking drawstring sleeve, perfectly sized for diesel heaters or portable AC units.

  • Superior Sleep System: Features a 2.5-inch self-inflating mattress with dual fill ports, offering at-home comfort and the ability to store your bedding inside the tent when closed.

  • ECO13B LST Fabric: Constructed with 100% recycled 900D Polyester Oxford infused with Light Suppression Technology to keep the interior pitch-black and thermally regulated.

  • Integrated Power Hub: A pre-wired internal power module includes USB-A, USB-C, and 12V sockets, powered via a standard SB-50 Anderson plug for seamless rig integration.

  • Advanced Lighting: Includes a dimmable 43-inch USB LED light bar with white, amber (bug-resistant), and blended modes to set the perfect camp mood.

  • Maximized Storage & Views: Features an overhead gear loft with a tablet sleeve, built-in boot bags, and a massive 36" x 20" sky window for unmatched stargazing.

  • Tent-Top Utility: The outer shell is equipped with dual T-slot roof rails rated to carry an additional 50 lbs of gear, such as solar panels or recovery boards.

Mounting & Rig Compatibility

A critical question for hardshell users is: "Will this fit my specific rack height?" The Armadillo Horizon 2 is a "Left-Side Opening" unit, meaning it deploys over the driver's side of the vehicle.

  • Mounting Footprint: At 52.5" W x 62" L, it is compact enough to fit on short-bed trucks and mid-sized SUVs without significant overhang.

  • Rack Requirements: This is a professional-grade unit weighing 205 lbs. We recommend a high-strength bed rack (like TUWA Pro) or a full-length platform rack with a dynamic weight rating that meets or exceeds the tent weight.

  • Self-Deploying Rainfly: The new design eliminates the need for traditional spring poles for the front hoop, making it ideal for high-clearance rigs where reaching the top of the tent is difficult.

  • Universal Hardware: Comes with a complete mounting kit, including pre-installed rails and a telescopic ladder that handles lift heights on most overland builds.

SQL qsg book
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I've taken a couple classes on SQL some time ago and was looking for a book to go over basics. This is a perfect book to start with the basics of understanding how to write a SQL query. I really liked that there is a free database to use in SQLite to follow along with the examples in the book. That was very helpful for me. I appreciated the tips throughout the chapters and the practice questions at the end. Easy to read and follow.

This is a good very distant overview
Format: Paperback
Sometimes I need a really simplistic overview of an entire subject before I feel comfortable sitting down to learn it. Like if you are going to learn about, say, 13th Century France you might want to know just a little about the major issues of the entire century before sitting down with a text book. This book is good for that. It's short, it gets you started with the main keywords, and at the end you have a good picture of what the language can do. And you can get to the end in a day or two. It's very well written, well organized, clear, and very very limited in scope. But if you read it, you will be in good shape to start getting down to business with working with SQL with a more advanced text. This book, in my opinion, was well worth the money and the read even though ultimately I turned to something far more advanced.

Does a good job, but too much philosophy.
Format: Kindle
I'm about halfway through this book. I have a condition that makes it hard to read. This book does a good job of teaching SQLite but spends too much time stressing the importance of comments and style. I agree, that these things are important, however, not to the audience of the book. The reader would have been better served by getting into the grit of SQL syntax and which keywords to use when versus ensuring that every query had a comment block with name, date, and description. Moreover, requiring every reader to download a prewritten database to work from and special utilities to follow along takes away from the learning experience. That said, you will learn the basics about SQLite, and by the end of the book be able to handle most problems you'll encounter when developing an application.
